I love marketplaces. Personally, I feel that is really the next generation of online commerce. Everything has been moving that direction for so long now and there are so many different marketplaces online. There are marketplaces for finding freelancers, selling music, buy shirts and apparel, selling digital courses…you name it.
And there are dozens and dozens of marketplaces for buying services and tapping into niche audiences. One of my favorite and one that I feel is massively underrated is Sponsored Tweets. Sponsored Tweets started out as a Twitter celebrity marketplace, where advertisers could get their products and services in front of the large Twitter audiences of popular celebrities like movie stars and singers.
Since then it has evolved into much more than that, allowing you to add multiple accounts and marketplaces.
The great thing about this marketplace is that since there are other marketplaces for acquiring social media followers, you can simply create a Twitter audience overnight very inexpensively…and then start making money by tweeting out advertisers offers in a very short amount of time. This is one of the simplest ways to make a steady (nearly passive) income online, which again, is why I feel like this is one of the most undervalued marketplaces that exists. It’s been around for several years now, and still there are very few marketers teaching or talking about it.
