So, you need to transfer a large file to someone online.
And it’s too big to send via email.
Well, there are several options you have.
You can either upload the file to Google Drive or Dropbox, both of which allow you to store several gigs of data for free.
Or, you could simply use a free service like WeTransfer, which allows you to quickly upload your file (up to 2GB) and enter in an email you would like to send it to. Once the file has finished uploading, the person whose email you entered will get an alert that they have a file that is ready to be downloaded.
WeTransfer is a great solution for large files that need to be transferred but are too big to send as an attachment in a standard email. And on a side note, WeTransfer files are only available for download temporarily…unless you decide to upgrade to WeTransfer Plus, which lets you upload even larger files as well as comes with several more features, for just a few dollars per month.
