To give you a little background about me, I got addicted to the Internet way back in like 1996 when my friend introduced me to HTML. We would spend our free time coding up really basic websites in cool tools like Front Page Express and then uploading them to places we could host free websites like crosswinds.net and GeoCities.
During college I started experimenting with ways to make money online. I thought if I could make enough money online then I didn’t have to get a job for the rest of my life, because honestly I didn’t really know what I wanted to do anyways.
I made my first couple dollars filling out and taking free surveys. I also discovered Google AdSense about 2007, but was a not-so-clever newbie and was dumb enough to click on my own ads a few times and ended up getting banned in a matter of weeks.
Around 2010 I really started to focus and get serious about online marketing. I spent all my nights and weekends learning everything I could. And I used all my extra money as well as maxed out credit cards buying all the information products and tools I could get my hands on for how to make money online. I also got involved in a couple of “business opportunities” that collapsed, and I lost thousands, which set me back a few years.
Eventually, after failing more times than I can count and racking up more than $40,000 in credit cards and personal loan debt, I took a few steps back from all the things I had learned and trainings that I had purchased and began to recognize a pattern in how others were making all their money online. There were pretty much just 4 “evergreen” strategies that accounted for ALL the money I was seeing made online, including some of the money I had began generating consistently for myself.
Those 4 evergreen strategies are: Listbuilding, Product Creation, SEO, and Paid Marketing. Each of these is, if mastered, provides an evergreen stream of online income, which means it’s not something that’s here today, gone tomorrow.
Once I started to focus on these 4 core strategies my income began to climb…
But, I’m a little slow. I like to take lots of notes and leave a lot of breadcrumbs for myself with step-by-step instructions on how to do basic things, so that I don’t have to keep those steps in my head, because I’ll almost certainly forget. So, that’s what I did with these evergreen marketing strategies. I documented the step-by-step bullet points for how to be successful at each one, mainly for myself, but then also decided to offer it as a course for others, because I certainly don’t want anyone that desires to be their own boss and make money online to have to go through years and years of failure and spend thousands of dollars on testing, etc. like I did…because they’ll almost certainly give up.
Luckily, if you’re in your life where you want to learn how to start making $100+/day online and you don’t want to figure everything out on your own you can just become a member of Evergreen Empire today and accelerate your path to success online.
Another strength of mine is organizing stuff. Yeah, I know, kinda dorky. But, it’s just what I’m good at and I created IMSource in the fall of 2014 so that I could use that strength to provide value for the internet marketing space. In all my years online, I hadn’t come across a great resource that provided basically a library of all the best tools for online marketers. There were niche blogs of marketers who wrote specific articles promoting one or two tools they used or recommended…but what about ALL the other tools I might eventually need as a marketer? There was nothing. So, that’s why IMSource exists. It wasn’t created to shove products down your throat. Obviously I receive a commission on most of the products that are on this site if you do decide one of the products or services you click on is something you need in your business. But I realize not everyone is ready or looking for every single tool that’s out there right this very moment. So, this site is mainly designed as a resource to serve marketers who are looking for the absolute BEST tool for xyz, without them having to go out there and spend their precious time looking for the solution themselves.
