So, you love to read, you know you need to read in order to acquire wisdom quickly and you want to read as many books as possible…
But you’re SLOW.
I get it.
We’re in the same boat.
It sucks.
Maybe you’ve even tried audiobooks.
But, for some reason the information just doesn’t stick as well as reading the words on a page.
Well, thankfully there is a solution.
It’s called Blinkist.
What Is Blinkist?
Blinkist is a modern day cliff notes solution for current and popular books.
They have a whole team of people who go out and read the most popular titles, summarize them, and deliver those summaries for you on a silver platter, so that you can quickly and easily digest the main point and topics covered in the books.
So, with Blinkist you can literally blaze through a book or more in a single day and absorb much more information and wisdom a whole heck of a lot quicker than traditional reading.
Pretty cool, huh?
How Does Blinkist Work?
So, they a free app for iPhone and Android and once you sign up you can download and read your books on the go.
The average book only takes about 15 minutes to read.
How Much Does Blinkist Cost?
They have a couple of different pricing options.
They have a FREE plan, which allows you to read or listen to one pre-selected book a day.
Then they have Blinkist Plus, which allows you to access their whole library and read as many books as you want. And they’re regularly adding about 40 new books per month. This plan is only $49.99/year.
And last they have their Blinkist Premium plan for only $79.99/year. This plan gives you access to the same features in the Plus plan, but you also have the option of an audio version of the book summaries, for people who love audiobooks, but want to zip through them in minutes instead of hours.
They also offer a FREE trial for you to test it out.
What Are The Other Blinkist Options And Alternatives?
A couple of other solutions and alternatives to Blinkist include: Getabstract, Instaread, and Joosr.
I haven’t used these other services personally, so I don’t have much of an opinion of them at the moment.
But, I would say, if you’re looking for a solid solution for significantly increasing the speed at which you’re able to go through and digest information inside of books you want to knock out, I would start with Blinkist.
Then, if you are unsatisfied for any reason, or would like to see what they experience is like with the other services, you can try them afterwards, and decide which one you prefer.
In Summary
I love Blinkist.
It’s such a simple solution, but extremely valuable.
Especially with the ridiculously affordable pricing they have…it makes it almost a no-brainer.
If you understand the value of books and how they can help you succeed and take your business and life to the next level…but you just don’t have a lot of time…or you’re simply a slow reader like me…
I would encourage you to create a FREE trial of Blinkist today and try it out.
